Orbyna Browser Extension — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 August 2026

The Orbyna browser extension (“the extension”) helps signed-in Orbyna users create, view and search their project tasks — and capture screenshots or selected text into tasks — from any browser tab. This policy explains what data the extension accesses and how it is used.

What we access

  • Authentication information. Your Orbyna workspace name and a session token, stored locally in your browser so you stay signed in.
  • Content you choose to submit. Task titles, descriptions, screenshots, and the URL/title of a page — only when you explicitly create a task from that page.

The extension does not read, monitor, or collect the content of the pages you visit in the background. It accesses a page only when you explicitly use the “create task from selection” or “screenshot” action on that page.

How it is used

This information is sent only to your own Orbyna workspace to perform the action you requested (create a task, search, log time, and similar). We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or for any purpose unrelated to the extension’s function.

Where it is stored

The session token and preferences are stored locally using the browser’s extension storage. Task content you create is stored in your Orbyna workspace and is governed by Orbyna’s main privacy policy.

Your control

Sign out from the extension at any time to remove the stored session token, or remove the extension to delete all locally stored data.
